Starting at Seven Sisters Country Park Visitor Centre we walk through Friston Forest to Westdean, where it is reputed that Alfred the Great had a palace, then on to Charleston Manor. From below the White Horse we walk along the Cuckmere River to the sea at Cuckmere Haven and then back through the Country Park. One hill at start then mostly flat. No road walking but we cross the A259 twice.
