Lewes Music Festival

A one day music festival in the heart of Lewes for the whole family. Live music, bars, food, stalls, children's activities, fun fair and a Rugby 7's tournament . Plus an opportunity for the minis and juniors to try taster sessions throughout the after noon Music from national and local bands throughout the day starting at 12 noon. This second year promises to be a good one.

The Dub Pistols, DJ Luck and MC Neat, Chasing Mumford (Europes No. 1 Tribute band) Ashley Campbell, Boogie Sounds and more to be announced soon.

The Rugby tournament was a great success last year and will kick off at 9am finishing with our final at around 12 noon. Winners announced on stage later in the day.

Last year we saw great performances from bands such at The Beat, DJ Spoony, Phats & Small and local artists including Concept of Thought.

Only a short walk from the local train station, bus routes to and from the rugby ground and the last trains running at 12.30am so plenty of time to make your way home after your festi day.

Terms & Conditions

Tickets are sold for the event by Lewes Music Festival and its various ticket outlets in accord with the terms and conditions below.

These terms & conditions contain important information, please read them carefully. The use of this ticket and entry onto the site shall constitute an acceptance by the holder of these terms & conditions and imply an undertaking on the part of the holder to observe them.

In the event of any breach of these terms & conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel tickets, to refuse admission, to eject the holder or to confiscate offending articles, as the case may be, and in any case, to retain any monies paid for the relevant ticket.

Tickets cannot be transferred, re-sold, refunded or re-issued. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than Lewes Music Festival or an authorised outlet or sub-agent, it will become voidable and the holder may be refused entry or ejected from the Site.

No tickets may be used for competitions, promotions or hospitality packages without the written consent of Lewes Music Festival, and any ticket so used will become voidable and the holder may be refused entry or ejected from the Site.

Tickets are sold subject to Lewes Music Festival’s right to alter or vary the performances and/or the Festival due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.

In the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond the control of the organisers, a refund will not be available. Children’s tickets are only available when purchasing an adult ticket and all children must be accompanied.

Proof of age for child tickets may be required on site to minimise risk of fraud and ticket touts. Lost, stolen, damaged, destroyed or undelivered tickets cannot be replaced or refunded, there will be no admission without a valid ticket. When you receive your tickets, please check them carefully as mistakes cannot always be rectified.

Keep tickets in a safe place. Please note that direct sunlight, heat or water can sometimes damage tickets.

Lewes Music Festival reserves the right to refuse admission to the Festival. Security personnel may conduct security searches of persons entering the site to ensure the safety of the persons on site. Any person who fails to comply with instructions from a steward or other person acting for the management may be ejected from the site. Admission to the site is at the ticket holder’s own risk. Lewes Music Festival shall have no liability for any loss, injury or damage sustained within the site.

Water and non-alcoholic drinks in plastic bottles with unbroken seals are permitted. Fireworks, smoke canisters, flags, banners or other similar articles are not permitted within the site, any person in possession of such articles may be refused entry or ejected from the site.

No illegal substances may be brought onto the site, any found will lead to prosecution.

Official merchandise, food, drink and general provisions will be available from authorised identified vendors within the site. No trading shall be undertaken without the consent of Lewes Music Festival, any offenders will have their property confiscated and will be ejected from the Site.

Photographic, video or audio reproduction of artists is prohibited. No professional tape or video recorders, or professional photographic equipment will be permitted on the site without agreement of Lewes Music Festival, any breach will lead to confiscation of equipment. Ticket holders consent to their inclusion in official photographic, visual & audio recordings of the Festival as members of the audience.

Dogs are allowed on-site.

Conditions Of Entry

Tickets cannot be re-sold. Defaced tickets will not be accepted. If you lose your tickets, we will blacklist them, they will become invalid and we will re-issue fresh tickets to you. The following rules will be sent out with every ticket bought in advance and given to everybody who purchases a ticket on the gate. They will also be advertised on the website in advance of the event.

All persons arriving with a vehicle must park on site in the designated areas. Anybody who does not is liable to have their vehicle removed.
We have the right to search anybody as a condition of entry to our event.
Anybody refusing a search will be evicted from site. There is a no return policy on those refusing searches. Amnesty boxes are positioned to allow attendees to voluntarily surrender illegal drugs.

We have the right to confiscate alcohol.

An attendee is not to bring any alcohol into the festival arena.
Anyone found selling alcohol can expect to be evicted from site.
Any parent of a minor whose child is suspected of consumption of alcohol is liable for eviction. Any parent or guardian of a minor suspected of committing or planning to commit an act of crime or anti-social behaviour will be evicted along with those in their care.

We have the right to confiscate PAs, generators, glass and other banned articles. All illegal substances and articles are banned from site.
The organisers reserve the right to change the bill without prior notification.
Persons and vehicles suspected of carrying out illegal and/or offensive activities on site will be searched and subject to eviction.

Lost wristbands cannot be replaced. Anybody found without a wristband is liable to be evicted.

Anybody entering the site is liable to be spot-checked and their wristband scanned for an identity check at any point.

Anybody found to be wearing a wristband that has been tampered with will be immediately evicted by security staff.

The organisers reserve the right to evict anybody they feel is in contravention of site rules, licensing conditions or the event eviction policy.

TICKET SALES & REFUNDS

Tickets are sold subject to license.

Refunds and cancellations – all refunds are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

No refund will be made for any ticket if cancellation by ticket holder is 4 weeks or less prior to event.

No refund on tickets if any event is cancelled last minute due to ‘acts of God’ beyond the organisers’ control.
