New for 2023: seasonal writing courses at the Beachy Head Story exhibition (with our Writer in Residence)
With this programme of writing workshops, we’ll explore the fascinating and complex landscape and heritage of Beachy Head over the course of the year, looking at aspects of geology and archaeology, social history and the natural environment. Each workshop will be layered with poetry and prose and stories to inspire the writers in us
Monday 16th January, 10.30am - 12.15pm: This Rock of Ages (chalk in perspective)
Monday 13th February, 10.30am - 12.15pm: The Edge of an Old Empire (migrations and innovations in Roman Eastbourne)
Monday 6th March, 10.30am - 12.15pm: Part 1 Save Our Souls! an extended workshop celebrating 199 years of the RNLI in Eastbourne
Monday 27th March, 10.30am - 12.15pm: Part 2 Rescue with a visit from the Beachy Head Chaplains.
Tickets £30 (includes £5 donation to the RNLI)
