Driven by the frantic, idiosyncratic persona (and iconic oversized suits) of singer David Byrne – who appears entirely at the mercy of what the beats laid down by drummer Chris Frantz and bassist Tina Weymouth are doing to his lanky body – it’s a joyous, spellbinding film, documenting a dizzying live performance full of energy and visual wit that builds to leave you on a musical and emotional high.
